You should never force it off, because if it is still stuck to your nail, this could result in a lot of pressure on the nail bed and can cause damage to the matrix. The quickest and best way to have them removed is to have the salon do the removal. I think it is feminine if a man gets his nails done, but if he gets his feet done I think it isn't because lots of men have nasty feet and don't take care of them and they NEED pedicures. How do you feel?Is a man getting his nails done at a nail salon considered feminine?
It's metro-sexual - it's nice to see a guy taking care of his body, whether at the gym or in a salon. It shows they respect themselves and know how to treat themselves. It could also mean that he's high maintenance - learned that from experience. I don't think there's anything wrong with it - unless he's getting acrylics on!Is a man getting his nails done at a nail salon considered feminine?
It doesn't matter one way or another to me.
Not really because there are pedicures and maincures that you can get where they do your nails with fungus fighters and stuff, and I'd rather see my man get his nails done, than see him catch a fingernail fungus.
no
I think it all depends on the color of nail polish used.
Nah. It just means he cares about his appearance.
I think anything a man does for hygiene, appearance, and relaxation is a good thing. My husband and I just went together yesterday for manicures and pedicures.
I work in a vet clinic next door to a nail shop and one of the doctors always goes and gets his nails done. I think it's cute. I like telling his appointments that he'll be right back and he's, just ';next door getting his nails done';. I am already in nail technician classes.?First of all start with your family and friends. Then get a place to begin to do the nails, of course there will be expansion when all of the $$$ starts rolling in. Place advertisements in the local newspapers. If you are near a college campus, purchase an ad, it may even be cheaper. Pass out business cards. There are free ones on certain websites. Depending on the size of the city you live in, you may want to pass out flyers--not mail them, this is another word for junk mail. All of this is low to no cost.
lip blush
Sandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09583766276653619962noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5366239608271768432.post-61173430953237672362010-05-14T02:48:00.002-07:002010-05-14T02:48:40.657-07:00Where can i find a place to buy my used nail salon stuff?i have 2 pedicare spas that i need to sel, but i dont know where. also, i have a set of used rims!

if i could find a local place it would be great. i live in largo floridaWhere can i find a place to buy my used nail salon stuff?
I would try E-Bay to get the best money for your productsSandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09583766276653619962noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5366239608271768432.post-86220771205124452032010-05-14T02:48:00.001-07:002010-05-14T02:48:28.557-07:00I am looking for a nail salon that has designed nail tips.?More like zebra or leopard printed nails. Repeat on the remaining 4 fingers of one hand. After 10 minutes gently remove your thumb from its foil pod and buff off any bubbly acrylic and replace in the foil pod, do this on the other nails repeating until its all gone. You will probably need to re-soak the cotton wool at some point.

Do NOT pull or pick at any acrylic on your nail or you will damage your own nails. Once one hand is done you do the other hand.

Using foil stops evaporation of the acetone and also heats it slightly which speeds up the process a little, try and get a snug as fit as possible on the foil pod to minimise drips and evaporation.

Picking acrylic off is what gives acrylic nails a bad name, its not designed to be picked off as it takes several layers of your own nail with it. How you can bring people into the salon with not too much effort or advertising costs etc to yourself, so widening the profit percentages etc.,?

Hope what Iv written at least helps you in some way or another, as Im the one from before that may have wasted your time re the waitressing and barwork answer!! Perhaps I have made up for that with this ...
When you give good service, people will always come back as well as telling their friends.

10% discount for the first visit

Gift vouchers

Good luck
Network, network, network. Get the word out, because if I tell 2 people and they tell 2 people and so on and so on.
You should take a picture of an unpainted hand with bad cuticles, thenpaint thae persons hands and make themok realy pretty and under it say This Could Be You
Why don't you make %26amp; distribute your own leaflets.Hand them out in your town centre %26amp; put them through letterboxes around your area - get friends %26amp; family to help. Put up posters in local shops %26amp; public places.
Advertise in your local paper(s).

Do some kind of promotion. For ex: 10 manicures and you get one free; first manicure, you get free bottle of polish; first pedicure, you get a free ';upgrade'; to some sort of treatment..an extra massage, a paraffin wax, an exfoliating scrub, etc

Do like the other posters said and make your own brochure. Leave it at local delis, restaurants, etc. People WILL pick it up.

Start a referral program. If a good client brings a new client to you, give the good client a 10% discount on her next service. You will have to keep track of this with referral vouchers or something similar (The good client gets a voucher with their name on it, gives it to the new client, new client brings it in and gives it to you, and you mark it down for the good client to get their 10% off.)

Take advantage of the internet. Make sure you're properly listed on any of the online ';phone books'; and make a free webpage for yourself with a list of your services, prices where you located, and how to contact you.Sandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09583766276653619962noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5366239608271768432.post-6634683490297136882010-05-14T02:46:00.003-07:002010-05-14T02:46:49.075-07:00Is there a way to take off gel nails without acetone or going to the nail salon?yes... how long have you had them on??? if there is any air gaps in the corners like they have tried to come off maybe do the dishes or take a hot bath and just let your hands stay in the water for a bit... the hot water will help with the glue... then you can get them off a bit easier... tho i would suggest going to the salon and letting them do that... it hurts less...Sandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09583766276653619962noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5366239608271768432.post-4848469826196479682010-05-14T02:46:00.002-07:002010-05-14T02:46:33.217-07:00What are the Wal-mart nail salon prices ?Please if you know all of them tell me especially getting fake nails! What are the Wal-mart nail salon prices ?
They range in mani-pedis from 15-25.00.
