How much do I tip at this nail salon?

I'm going to get my nails done tomorrow at a place where it's $45 dollars for a full set of nails. How much do i tip?


Would $4 be too little? After paying 45 for the nails, i'm going to be a little short on cash.How much do I tip at this nail salon?

I usually tip my hairdresser or esthetician 10-15% depending on how good the service was. I'd tip atleast $5 on a $45 service but more along the lines of $6-7.





Or I get them a gift cert from Starbucks (or Tim Horton's or whatever) for the same amount if I know they like coffee.

normally you should tip 10-15% of the full price, but if you're not as happy with the standards, or over happy with the standards, you change it to how it would fit you.
I only give about $3!!! $45 is a lot for nails!!! Get a manicure so your nails can grow healthy and strong and you won't have to wear fake nails or pay that price!
I would tip 5 bucks
usually it would be 15% of the total so maybe around $6-7
