Does anyone get acrylic nail tips at the nail salon?

Im thinking of getting fake acrylic nails put on. They look so nice and clean on people. However, are they worth it?Does anyone get acrylic nail tips at the nail salon?

i think it is.. i could have mine on for a month and still look good.. w/o the refills! i love em' lol and if you're tanning, get the solar nails!
well , to me its more worth it to do it yourself . its cheaper and it rather easy, you just need to buy the acrylic powder and lyquid to make the bead.
I am 24 and have been wearing acrylic nails for about 11 years off and on. I love them! My real nails won't grow and further more don't look as pretty. I love it and can afford to keep them done so I do. I think it looks classy and you can pamper yourself and relax while their are making you look better. Go for it. Atleast try it if you don't like it never get them again.
I had acrylic nails on for a very long time (about 5 years) I took them off about 2 1/2 years ago and I still have ridges in my nails today. Also if you get in the tanning bed or use any kind of self tanner the acrylic nails will turn yellow. So I would say no if you are tanning or don't want ridges in your nails.
I have had both, acrylic and gel. Acrylic are longer lasting, but in my opinion Gel nails are kinder to the natural nail. I would go for gel.
