Does the silence of a nail salon make you uncomfortable?

I have some lady friends that love to have their nails done. I came along one time and found the experience kind of spooky. The ladies doing the nails did not speak english or had such poor english skills that they spent all their time in silence.





I would feel ill at ease having someone sit in front of me holding my hand but not talking. Does it seem strange to you?Does the silence of a nail salon make you uncomfortable?
that's weird they are usually speaking in their language that i don't even know what there saying. maybe they would rather get the work done then talking.Does the silence of a nail salon make you uncomfortable?
Wow, the people at my nails salon tlak all the time.





They are asian and dont speak english well but they are very nice and conversive.





Why not try going to a different salon to get your nails done if the one your at makes you uncomfortable.





and if that isnt an option, try striking up a conversation with one of them, maybe they are just shy?
Not really...I don't speak to people I don't know...But I hate it when the nail techs don't speak english, or they do, and they talk in a whole different language, and then laugh....It makes me feel like they're talking about their clients.
The nail salon i go to they only speek a bit of english which is great because i always run out of conversation and id rather relax than be talked to death
I kinda get what you mean. The silence is uncomfotable nut to be honestr it makes me sleepy .
It is not this way were I go. They are nice talkative and they also have several TVs on. Try another salon.
