I will be opening up my first nail salon and want serious suggestions on how to advertise and attract customers to my salon. Starting out, it will be just myself doing nails and sellilng my natural skin care products.How to attract more customers to my nail salon?
i know here locally, you can get ads placed on the back of peoples reciepts at the grocery store. you can place signs out (get permission first), along the street. Place a big flashing sign outside the shop. here there are plenty of places that can help small businesses get started. they offer free small time advertising on websites etc. make flyers, hang them up at colleges, high schools, gyms, or wherever you can. Get up a good gimmic for the first week you are open, or something similar. Offer two for one or discount stuff to bring people in. And the best advertising of all..word of mouth..have your family and friends tell everyone they know!How to attract more customers to my nail salon?

Er... don't spend too much on advertising when you are just starting out.... spend more time focusing on your customers, keep them happy ... keep cost low.... maybe give a discount coupon your customer's next visit ....
Advertise the unique features of your salon.
Good luck with ur business! You could hand out leaflets with two for one offers on manicures so that people bring a friend and you'll get twice as many new customers that may return again and again :o)
