Nail salon?

I have never been to a NAIL salon.


I have been to hair salons and stuff but I have never gotten my nails done.


I want to go get acrylics tonight and I want the tips to be checkred.


Can someone explain to me what will happen.


Like when you get acrylics what do they do?


Like clean your nails,choose a design etc.

for the first two comments wow you both are going to NON STANDARD SALONS if that's the treatment you are getting....i'm a licensed nail tech and those descriptions you both gave are soooooo incorrect i would highly suggest you both get new nail techs.....





first your nails will be buffed and your cuticles pushed back, tips will be glued to the free edge of your nail and then clipped to the correct length, then the tip will be bleneded with your natural nail, then the nail dust will be removed and your nail beds dehydrated... the acrylic is then applied once complete they will be filled for shape and then base coat, polish and or designed how you want.........Nail salon?
They will clip your real nails and then they will push back your cuticles and then they will start doing your fake nails.They will use this sm machine to smooth your nails down a bit.You have to tell them what length you want short or med or long.Explain to them what design you want,you have to pay extra for designs.It does not hurt.I get mine done all the time.Good Luck
they're going to file down your nail, and then sand paper it sort of speak, and then glue, the white top part on, and fill the rest with acrilic paste stuff.

maybe bring in a picture, usually they don't speak good english.

and when you want to get them off, have them do it.

Make sure they are a good salon. They should have all their equipment soaking in sterilizing solution so you don't get a fungus. They will rough up your natural nails with an emery board, then put some chemicals on and glue on nail tips, then add the acrylic, file and smooth, then you wash and they polish. If you aren't planning to keep them up don't bother putting them on because they screw up your natural nails. You can just go get a manicure and have them polish your natural nails.
