What do you hate most about your local nail salon?

Aside from people not speaking English, what do you hate the most about the nail salons you go to?What do you hate most about your local nail salon?

The way they use drills on you, and they don't even change the drill bits.


The way they re-use dirty files.


The way they brush off the dust from a client before me with a brush, and then use the same brush to dust my hands off.


The way they drill away at my cuticles, make me bleed, and then say ';You be okay you be okay';


The way they get all bitchy when I ask them to fix something.





That's why I went to beauty school and became a certified nail technician myself. I speak English, I don't babble away in my native tongue in front of my clients, AND I actually care about my client's safety so I properly disinfect my tools, use brand new files on everyone, and I make sure my clients leave fully satisfied!
at my nail salons they speak english but then to other workers they speak a different languege and i always think they are talking about me!!! haha








also i hate the taxes


and i hate how the prices are so expensive


and i dont get why they wear masks so they dont breath in the fumes but we dont have one so we are breathing the fumes in.
the lack of attention to pain! if i say oww! i mean it! i have had that dremmel thing go almost all the way thru my nail bed when getting them ready for a fill. not only did it hurt really bad but it ruined my nails for almost a year. if she would have been paying attention it would have never happened. also, when getting a pedicure...don't use the razor! i have asked not to have it used and they start to use it anyway, then get mad about it! i am paying for service and i want it the way that is comfortable for me.
I don;t have a problem with them not speaking english they just need to be able to talk better so that everyone can understand. also the asian soap operas need to go. also i don;t know about anyone elses salon but they talk on their cell phones while doing my nails. to me that is just plain rude!!
ughh.! my local nail salon is just NOT GOOD AT ALL.!!! if i get my nails done at a place about 3 minutes away they always do a great job but its too far and very expensive. my local nail salon is expensive but every time i get my nails done there they start to chip and eventually pop off.! thats what i hate!
One time I got an infection from them using dirty tools and my nailbeds were swollen and puffy and so was my face! I was so upset and scared because my prom was the next day and I had to take all these antibiotics and allergy medications....
I wonder if the Asian people are talking about me in their language and I wonder if they understand what I asked to be done and hope they do my nails right. lol =) no offense to Asians seriously.
I am in germany and they have asians in there but americans to. But it is so freaking hot no air conditioning or fans, and they take forever.

They are insanely expensive and they never listen to me they just kind of blabber away and do what they want .
The prices. Its like 50 dollars for pedicure. And down south, its like 10 bucks. Total rip!
