We are thinking of buying a nail salon business for a reasonable price and are thinking of ways to attract new customers. Any suggestions? When choosing a nail salon, what is the most important feature, besides cleanliness?
Diversity, specials, ability to converse with and understand the individual needs of each client. When choosing a nail salon, what is the most important feature, besides cleanliness?
make sure they are gentle!! i went to a place and when they where griding my nail down they where soooo rough, my fingertips where like raw afterwords!!!! it was horrible lol
Competitive pricing,Friendly ,knowledgeable staff, variety of services,Licenced estheticians, man friendly environment(our clientele includes plenty of men)Good reliable products that you do believe in.Also be accessible(hours, appointments, parking etc)All the best of Luck to You!!
Make sure the Nail Techs speak english, are personable and friendly that don't cater to just one kind and remember they must be certified and licensed as well as very clean, you need someone who maintains the highest level of sanitation possible otherwise you'll end up with another paula abdul situation!
Don't forget hi end products eg: opi, china glaze etc.
I just went to a new nail salon the other day and that's gonna be my new home! lol. The people were really nice and sociable, the prices are really good, it's close to home, popular area, easy to get to, they offer a lot of services. You can't do much better than that!
P.S. - It's always cool to have a guy working in a nail salon! lol.
the professional nail stylists (is that what they are called? i'm sorry)
reasonable prices
the services you offer
flexability
What draws me into a nail salon is one how clean it is and two if they paint your nails well. Something that can bring in more people is a spray brush with stencils to make little designs on people's nails after you pain them. Also brings in an extra buck or two ;).
One of the most important things to me besides cleanliness is how communicable (idk if that is a word lol) the nail techs are. Alot of the places around here have nail techs that speak chinese, korean, japanese etc to the other nail techs. It really bothers me when someone is talking to another person in a different language while working on me. Who knows what they could be saying.
