I definitely don't recommend Sally Hansen or really any other brand. If you want them to last a day or two that's fine. If you want them to last two weeks I would definitely go to the salon. I would say your best bet is trying to get your own nails in shape. If its to much for you to spend on acrylics go and get a manicure every so often. It makes a big difference. Then you can take over from there. Use a good cuticle oil at home and go out an buy some nail strengthening. I use OPI Nail Envy on my clients and the LOVE IT! You can find it in most salons. Good Luck!!What's the best brand for fake nails instead of going to the nail salon?

nailene nails have the best glue and stay on the longest, but you really should go to a nail salon, because you'll end up having to replace these so many times that spending thirty bucks and having acrylics that last will actually even out with spending six bucks every week to replace plastic nails.
Try getting Sally Hansen nails. They look good quality. I have never tried them as mine nails are okay.
HOWEVER.
you could get a basecoat and clear strengthing nail polish and put that on your nails. my nails grow unevenly too but I don't care. file them with an emery board. you will like your nails better. :) trust me.
hmmm.. I suggest keeping them short but really polished. After a while they will gain the strength to grow properly again.
Fake nails will be a waste of money after a week - and most likely ruin your nails and leave them even more ugly and uneven.
