Qualifications of working at a nail salon?

i want to learn how to do nails but i was wondering, do u have to know how to draw the designs, because i dont know how to draw at all?

i'm in school for nails now in ga. i will be there for 8 months when i graduate. but if you don't want to go to school you can apprentice under a tech also. they have too apply for a special license . you can type in ..apprentice nail tech in ga or your state and get laws for that particular way. every nail tech has there specialty i honestly thought that the designs would be harder for me since my hand isn't steady put i can do a great french tip. and lines are easier than they look. i say you should go for it. have fun you have to do a certain amount of hours also to graduate. but nobody can ever take it away from you. once you get your license you can do it from your kitchen as long as you follow your states guidelines

To do a nail diploma it usually take about 1 month to do learn how to do nails. Another week is for learning designs. Repetition and practice you will get better, as your still learning. Most places are fine if you don't know how to draw designs, its not hard, they pretty much can show you along the way.
