Where would i go to get a brazilian bikini wax? at a nail salon? or a hairdressing salon?

i've never had one before so i have no idea where to go.Where would i go to get a brazilian bikini wax? at a nail salon? or a hairdressing salon?
Most definitely go to a reputable, and upscale day spa if it is within your budget to do so. Most will have well trained, and experienced esthesticians who will perform the waxing services for you. Plus, its a great environment - quite relaxing, which helps when getting a Brazilian!


Sure, you can go to a hair salon too. But at a nail salon? Such as a 'discount' salon (those strip mall places that charge like $25 or less for a full set. I don't know if this one does waxing or not, but Regal Nails in Walmart is a great example of a 'discount' nail salon). I would not suggest going to one of those places for anything - not for waxing, or for nails either, because the vast majority of the time the person performing these services is untrained, has little experience, and in many cases, they are unlicensed as well (Not all, but in many states, a license is required to perform any type of body waxing). Thus, they are typically not qualified to do the job. In addition to that, these salons are well known to be quite filthy in terms of bacteria, and germs which can be very harmful, even dangerous, to your health. This fact has been well documented over the past few years, and more and more are being heavily fined, and even shut down because of these things. Avoid this type of salon. They may be cheap, and save you a few bucks, but seriously, isn't your health and well-being much more important to you than the possibility of saving a few bucks? Go to a nice salon/spa for your first one...I have known people that have had awful experiences at nail places with waxing, but I have never had any problems at my spa. Go to a place where they are known for doing it...ask around to your friends to see where they go.

An upscale hair salon. I always hear news stories about nasty diseases being spread at nail salons. You get what you pay for.
I would suggest a beauty salon that specialises in brazillian waxing.. Prior to having it down have a nice HOT bath to soften everything up and the hairs will come out easier and less painfull.. Good luck
depends on where you live, in larger cities a lot of those places have both kinds of services, but, your best bet would be checking with a day spa
Do you mean a bikini wax done by a Brazilian? Sounds simple enough to me...
